” ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ “ - Jeremiah 29:11
It’s only fitting that this should be the last session I post before my December break. God just amazes me…
Okay, a little history here for those of you who don’t know! I’m sure some of you recognize my stepdaughter, Conley, in these pictures. Well, this is the other side of her family… her mother, stepdad, stepbrothers, and one of her three sisters!
God has definitely brought us into each others lives in very peculiar ways. It took a little time and LOTS of praying but Luci (Conley’s mom) and I are what I consider pretty darn good friends… she’s actually one of my best friends! We have a relationship that most moms/stepmoms only dream of, or one that they can’t really comprehend at all. Why, you ask, am I telling you all this!?? Well, for all of you out there who are mothers, stepmothers, fathers, and stepfathers… it’s not about us… IT’S ABOUT THE CHILDREN. If we can’t love each other and get along for the sake of our children, what’s the point? What are we teaching them about love? What are we teaching them about our God, about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? And besides that, you may find out that you really like that person that plays such a huge part in your child’s life.
So, my Christmas wish for all of you is this… LOVE your children and LOVE everything that comes along with them, be it step-parents, real parents, or no parents at all. It’s up to you to make a difference. When your children/step-children are all grown up, what kind of memories do you hope they have?
I LOVE YOU LUCI! Thank you so much for Conley. She has blessed my life in more ways than I ever thought possible, as have you… And I hope Chris and those boys know just how lucky they are to have you in their lives. Hope ya’ll enjoy!
Grace & Peace…

I have one more session to post after this and I’m done until mid-January! Yay! I must admit, I am a little excited about having some time off. This will be a busy month for us as a family and I can hardly believe Christmas is only THREE WEEKS AWAY! I don’t know about ya’ll, but I’m not nearly ready.
I hope to share some pics of my babies with ya’ll during December, but first I have to take them. Ha! That is on my “to do” list. Anyway…
About this session… this was supposed to be a Christmas present for their mom, but she ended up coming to the photo session with them. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with them even though it was quite chilly. The girls toughed it out in their short sleeves and we got some great shots. Thanks guys for a great shoot! Hope ya’ll enjoy!
Grace & Peace…

This was my second meeting with this precious family. We first met in June for pictures on a hot summers day. This appointment was much cooler! The three children are all so very different and each one very sweet. The smallest one’s name is Raine and everytime she started getting fussy, her mommy would begin singing “Raindrops are falling on my head” and she would just light up with a smile from ear to ear! Thanks you guys for traveling over my way this time! I had lots of fun with ya’ll! Hope you enjoy!
Grace & Peace…
