“You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.” – Kahlil Gibran
What a sweet baby girl. Savannah was in town visiting her grandmother and it was my privelege to be able to photograph her! She has the most precious curls right on top of her little head. We had a great time and here is some of what we ended up with. Hope ya’ll enjoy and I can’t wait until next time!

Well, I’m still having issues with uploading my pictures. Really don’t know what the problem is, but it’s pretty aggravating when I can’t show what I want to show! Anyway, here are a very few of the shots of Nathan and his family. And what a precious family. Dad was a real trooper! I, however, was exhausted after we were done. This little boy was EVERYWHERE. And I mean everywhere! Great fun though! Hope ya’ll enjoy!

I have ten more designs for my cards. This is just all I got around to putting together tonight. I’ll try to get the others up pretty soon! All cards are 5×7 folded cards printed on linen paper. Let me know if ya’ll are interested!

Well, I’m back from Texas and up to my eyeballs in processing, emails, and orders. First on my “to do” list is Jennifer and Adam’s wedding from two weeks ago. I know, I know… I’m seriously behind! I’m diligently working on it today and hope to have some shots posted by tomorrow or Thursday. I also have several sessions to process from before I left. I will try very hard to get some shots posted on here of those, but I’m not making any promises on when that will be. For those of you who emailed me while I was gone, please give me to the end of the week to get back with you. I really appreciate it!
All that said, I had a great time visiting with my brother. Took some great photos of all the hunters. They have some HUGE deer out there! Can’t wait to show ya’ll!

Just a reminder… I will be out of pocket for the remainder of the week. I will not be answering calls or returning emails until Monday the 22nd. You are welcome to leave me a message if you’d like and I’ll get back to you.
Hope you all have a wonderful week and weekend! Check back next week for new posts!

Words just cannot accurately express the amount of fun that I had with these two. This was absolutely, positively, without a doubt the most interesting photo session I have had. Meet Jonathan and Elizabeth. If you can’t figure it out from some of the pictures, they are actors. And extremely entertaining ones, I might add! Jonathan has been in several productions of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” among other things. They were in transit from Chicago to Florida at the time of this shoot. I can hardly wait to meet and take pictures of some of their actor friends!
We had SO MUCH FUN!!!! It was so hard to narrow these down to post. I really wanted to post the whole session, but I couldn’t. Anyway, I hope ya’ll enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them… Thanks you two for a WONDERFUL morning.

Watch out for the tall grass!

This is them stalking prey through the tall grass. There was also a monkey cage shot, but I thought I’d keep that one to myself.

“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see…” Hebrews 11:1
I will have the pleasure of photographing Krystal and Tyler’s wedding in March 2008. This was their engagement session and the first time I had met Tyler, but Krystal is truly a beautiful person inside and out. Her love for the Lord shines so bright you can’t help but be caught up in a place of worship when you’re around her. She has prayed for me on several occassions when I needed it… and she didn’t even know I needed it. When I first began this photography business, I never really took into consideration the friendships that I would build along the way. I am very grateful to God for sending me such special people that will forever leave an imprint on my life. I only hope I can do the same for them…

I’m working very hard to get caught up on all my sessions. I had a wedding this past weekend and that in itself is like having ten sessions to process! I will be in Texas next week (October 17-21) visiting one of my brothers. He works on a hunting ranch guiding hunts and raising deer, so I ought to have some pretty interesting pictures to share with ya’ll when I get back. I haven’t seen him since Christmas last year so I am very excited about the trip! Just to let you know, I will not be returning business calls or emails until the following week.
Okay, about this fun session! These are some sweet sisters I had the pleasure of photographing last week. They are both so pretty and the youngest one LOVES to laugh. We had a great time and I’m looking forward to photographing their new baby brother/sister when he/she arrives in January! Hope ya’ll enjoy!

I have no Bible verse or words of wisdom for this session as of yet. I had planned on it, but my youngest is sitting in my lap passed out at this moment… and I’m not taking the chance of moving her until I finish this post! Don’t worry Mom… there will be one in their book!
I only got to spend a little over an hour with these three, but in that short time I was amazed at how different they each were. Having three girls of my own, it thrills me to see sisters of this age and how they act with each other. I just pray that my three grow up to love each other as much as Chanci, Rebekah, and Tabitha do. I have three brothers, so I have no concept of that “sisterly love”. It must be a pretty amazing thing though! Anyway, these are a few of my favs. Hope ya’ll enjoy!
