If anyone is interested in photo sessions for the Fall months, you need to contact me soon. As of this moment I have two appointments available for September, one for October, and five for November. I will not be taking appointments in December. HOPEFULLY it will be too cold by then anyway! HA!
Thanks again to all of you who visit my site and leave me comments/emails. To my wonderful clients, THANK YOU for believing in me and for referring me to your friends and families. Ya’ll are awesome! I thank God every day for leading me down this path. I only hope that I am pleasing Him in the process. He deserves all the glory… not me!
Look forward to hearing from ya’ll soon! Grace & Peace…

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1John 3:1
What a fun morning! And I’m so glad it wasn’t 170 degrees outside. This little boy was really cute. He didn’t want to give me many smiles, they never do when you point a camera at them, but I like what we ended up with. These are a few of my favorites. Hope ya’ll enjoy!

Watch and listen. SEE it. HEAR it. We are so unbelievably lucky to have a God that loves us this much. Hope you love Him that much! I sure do.

Yeah, I’m a slacker… I should have taken these pictures in May right after their dance recital. But I’m glad we waited because I love the shots in the cornfield. My girls are growing up SO fast. Where does the time go? I am so blessed to have been given all three of my wonderful babies. Each of them are so different, I just sit around waiting to see what they’re going to do next! All you parents, make the most of it. Before we know it they’re going to be on their way to college… Hope ya’ll enjoy!
Thank you, Father God, for these little blessings of mine!

For my faithful viewers, I apologize for not posting anything lately! I don’t schedule many appointments when my husband is home, and have grown very accustomed to enjoying time with him and my girls. But, not to worry, he leaves next week and it’ll be back to the grind! I have some exciting shoots coming up, so stay tuned…
Also, for all you women… I am reading a FABULOUS book and want to encourage each of you to read it as well.
“Finding Favor with the King” by Tommy Tenney. Based on the book of Esther, it lays out some pretty amazing steps to grabbing the heart of God. I could go on and on, but I won’t…just get it and you’ll see! Here is one of MANY of my favorite excerpts…
“Worship differs from praise only in the sense that our lives and physical bodies BECOME the praise offered to Him. The only thing necessary to qualify you to praise Him is breath. BUT, to truly KNOW Him – that takes worship. This is where we express our love for Him by bowing before Him. We humble ourselves before Him simply because of who He is. Worship is not dependent on what He has done, what He is doing, or upon any other outward circumstances. He is worthy of worship simply because HE IS. This is our unconditional love for our Father in heaven, and this place cannot be entered unless we are “clean” in our hearts and minds with pure motives – loving the Giver more than the gifts.”
Take the time to visit their website at www.godchasers.net. Sign up for the daily devotional while you’re there. It’s pretty amazing stuff too! How great is our God!!

“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3
Another fun engagement session! These two will be married in early October and I’m looking very forward to the wedding. We had a great time, managed to beat the heat, and even got to play on a firetruck…courtesy of Adam and the West Monroe Fire Department. These were some of my favs. Hope ya’ll enjoy! Stay tuned for Jennifer’s bridals…coming soon.

“Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away…” Song of Songs 8:7
These are from a great engagement shoot I had over the weekend. We were supposed to have an evening appointment, but decided to change it to 8am that morning. I’m SO glad we did. It wasn’t nearly as scorching outside! A sweet and very cute couple… I’ll be doing their wedding in late October and can hardly wait! These were a few favorites from the day. Hope ya’ll enjoy! (Stay tuned for Heather’s bridals soon to come!)

“Making a decision to have a child–it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body.” - Elizabeth Stone
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15
Meet Anna Marie! Isn’t she precious? These are a few of the very few pictures that I got of her. Out of the hour and a half I was there, she screamed for about an hour and fifteen minutes of it! Poor baby, she just wasn’t having a good day. I’m looking forward to another session. Hope ya’ll enjoy.

“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots; the other, wings.” – Hodding Carter
“A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” Proverbs 22:1
I had a fun time with these two! It is always such a change of pace for me to be around little boys. Having three girls is SO different. Little boys are all over the place during a photo shoot. I definitely get a workout! And this little one was busier than his older brother. Oh, to have the energy of a child! Funny how God gives us just what we need isn’t it? Hope ya’ll enjoy these!

JESUS IS THE WAY…
It was very important to Leigh that we get a picture with this cross in the background, and I can say with confidence that it’s because she knows Jesus is the way. She is a God fearing woman and I only regret that I did not meet her years ago. She is quite a gal. I hope John knows just how lucky he is!
Well, once again we braved the ridiculous Louisiana weather and managed to finish the shoot not completely drenced in sweat…but almost. After our shoot, they headed on to Houston, Texas to make their new home. Sure glad I got to spend the afternoon with them. I wish you two many years of happiness and love… (Can’t wait for that tropical island beach wedding!!)
