What precious babies these two were. I’ve never seen a brother that loved his baby sister more than this little boy does…and such a good helper to Mom! Hopefully, that will continue over the years! These are a few of my favorites, hope ya’ll enjoy.

I’m almost caught up with my posts! Almost, but not quite… three down, three to go. What a FUN shoot this was! This is the first shoot in a while where I walked away knowing that my true style had shown through. Hope ya’ll love these as much as I do!

Dear Father, the months and years speed by so quickly. Help us to live purposefully, remembering that our legacy to our children has little to do with money–and everything to do with how we heed and obey Your Spirit. Amen.
I had to include the prayer that went along with this verse. Instilling Bible time and prayer time with my children has been an increasingly important issue to me lately. It’s important for us as parents to know that they are ready…are you ready?

What a precious little boy. With such a loving family. I enjoyed spending the morning with them and I hope they enjoy the outcome of our visit.
This was the first newborn session I have done in quite a while. It’s really sad that our babies aren’t babies for very long at all. Make the most of it.

That Bible verse just seemed perfect for this bunch. Their mom has been trying to get them over for pictures since March. Strike one – stomach virus. Strike two - rained out. Strike three – mom had emergency surgery two days before the appointment. But we finally made it on Round Four!!! Hooray!
Meet 3-year old twins Vivian & Lily, better known as Bill & Bob…and older brother Parker! I had a fun but exhausting morning with these three. If I could bottle up energy and sell it they would be my first million! Hope ya’ll enjoy.

I had a really good time photographing these two sisters. It’s funny…they are like night and day. One is fair skinned and blonde headed. The other is dark complected with dark hair. God’s creative genius always amazes me. Anyway…we all had a great time. I sure hope their mommy likes her surprise!!

Well, all my end of the week appointments rescheduled due to the rain…I was bored and wanted to prove a point, so Amanda and I took the kiddos (minus Conley) out for a little..no, ALOT, of fun! We let them have their way with some seriously sugared snacks and then went on a hunt for the biggest water hole we could find. Carson kept singing, “This is the best vacation EVER!!” IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!
I know everyone likes those “posed” pictures every now and then…but THESE are the pictures memories are made of. Kids being kids. Doing what they love. I have my MOST fun doing shoots like these. No plans, no rules…just fun.
So, for future reference…NO CANCELLATIONS DUE TO RAIN! Hope ya’ll enjoy…

These shots are from our town’s annual ”Fire on the Lake”…a gospel singing and firework show celebrating the precious memory of Claude Williams. I would really like to preach a sermon now, but I’m not. Hopefully my quote and scripture will touch the heart of someone.
May you and your family have a wonderful Independence Day. Let us fly our Christian flags as high as our American flags! They should go hand in hand!
