I don’t know about you but sometimes I just long for my Lord to tell me something. Sometimes I just need a word from Him. I receive a daily bible verse and a thought for the day from a friend I work with. Today’s verse was so powerful to me. I wanted to share it with all of you. I hope it speaks to you the way it did me.
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Psalm 37:6
Lord, I want to be more like you. May I see where changes are necessary, and trust you for the help I need.
Good stuff, huh?
Lord, help me to trust you completely and always find my help and strength in You. Amen
May God Bless you all… Amanda

“I DO BELIEVE; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:24
Well, I was supposed to be attending the Beth Moore conference in Shreveport tonight with some of the girls from church…but, my babysitter had an emergency and I was unable to go. Instead of letting the DEVIL get the best of me, which is what he’s been trying to do lately (hence my bible verse above), my girls and I opted to make the most of our beautiful day! We visited El Song gardens at the Beidenharn and it was absolutely gorgeous over there. Numerous amounts of tulips and azaleas, among other things in bloom. Oh, the ladies went on and on about how cute the girls were in their little white dresses, but I KNOW they were secretly saying, “That lady needs to get her unruly children and get OUT of here.” You’ll notice from these pics that I barely got a face shot at all because they were running around like they were in a toy store. They act like they NEVER leave the country! Anyway, we had a wonderful day and I wanted to share some of it with ya’ll. Enjoy and God Bless…

In the midst of shooting today, we received a very gracious invite into the old Biscuit Company/New Orleans Cafe. What an amazing place. The new owner, Timothy Tillman, allowed us free reign to photograph in the building. It was the icing on the cake for our day! The NEW New Orleans Cafe will be opening next weekend. Stop on by and tell him we sent ya!

Oh, to be the child of a photographer! Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad. This little outing was a mixture of both! Carson loves modeling for me, but when she’s had enough she doesn’t mind letting you know. But I think her pouty expressions are the cutest! Thanks everybody for stopping by to check our blog out. We really appreciate all the response we’ve received on it. Hope y’all continue to visit and enjoy. God bless…

I’m not posting ALL the pictures from the actual birthday party, but I couldn’t resist these. Here are two little girls that really deserve to be showcased! Hilarious! Ain’t it great to be a girl?
And, yes, we finally got all the glitter, makeup, and hairspray washed away.

This past weekend was my stepdaughter’s 5th birthday…isn’t she beautiful? We celebrated by taking our girls to Libby Lu’s where they got a ”Rock Star” makeover!! If you have not been in this store, you owe it to yourself to stop for a visit…kids or no kids. It’s awesome! Hope y’all enjoy!
The floor in Libby Lu’s is COVERED in glitter…as you can plainly see from these feet!
And of course, no birthday is complete without a visit to the Great American Cookie Company!
